Gwent School of Nursing,silver SRN training badge

A silver and enamel badge awarded for State Registered Nurse training at the Gwent School of Nursing in the 1970s.The badge features a cross whose ends are shaped in the form of Prince of Wales feathers.At the centre of this is a lamp of learning taken from the badge design of the previous Royal Gwent Hospital badge.There is a blue enamel banner to the top with Gwent School of Nursing.Condition is good with original pin,clasp and safety roller catch all in good order. silver hallmarks for TK&S Birmingham 1972.height 38mm
