Queens Institute of District Nursing Badge

A rather nice large version of the brass Queen's Institute Badge as worn around the neck on its black and white suspension chord.It is 57mm tall and caries the Royal cypher VRI surmounted by the Imperial crown.This pattern of badge would have been worn between 1928 and 1972.In very good condition with it's original chord.Numbered to the rear 4786.( a project is currently being undertaken to identify the Nurses issued with these badges,see http://www.qni.org.uk/news/117)
