A silver and enamel pendant badge for the General Nurse training at Barnsley District General Hospital.In good overall condition although with some chipping to the enamel between Y and S and after L. Pin clasp and safety catch all in good order.Hallmarked for Birmingham 1983,makers mark Fattorini & Sons. Height 42mm
This badge and the accompanying Derby badge were awarded to Miss Carole Skidmore who was a ward Sister on the Children's ward at Barnsley and then went to work at Derby.
