Leather Nurses Chatelaine set with equipment

Another rare piece of, what was once, a basic piece of Nursing equipment, mainly a Nurses chatelaine set of equipment in a leather case. They were widespread from the Mid Victorian era up until just after the First World War.Worn suspended from a nurses belt these would contain the nurses tools of her trade of the time. The contents could vary slightly but this is a fairly typical example.
It consists of a leather case with apertures to fit the instruments.
In this case are 1) a pair of metal forceps and 2) a white metal tongue depressor with no makers mark .3)Two small (silver?) wound probes.4)A steel and glass pulse timer for 15 seconds.5) A pair of artery forceps 6) A metal container with a "Maws "glass mercury thermometer graded in Fahrenheit(This is broken and has lost it's end) Below this section is 7) a small pencil 8) a variety of pins 9) a small pocket with press stud fixing in which are a variety of sewing implements, safety pins ,etc. Several of these are starting to rust.
The belt hook fixing has been engraved " Presented to G E Turner by the Wellingborough nursing Sisters May 14 1909"

In good condition overall for it's age , leather is intact if slightly scuffed in places .The metal loop for attaching it to the belt is also good. For further pictures please visit; https://www.flickr.com/photos/backmanmal/albums/72157710234176987
A rare and original item of great interest to the Nurse Historian or re-enactor.These seldom come onto the market and command high prices, especially in the US.
Please ask for any further details or pictures.
