Bootle Health Society, silver Sanitary Inspector Badge

A scarce silver and enamel badge for the Bootle Health Society.Founded in 1907 it was aimed at improving the Health of the deprived families of the area and organised a variety of Sanitary Inspectors, as well as School and Baby clinics.The badge features the coat of arms of Bootle with Bootle Health Society appearing on a navy blue band to the edge.Condition is very good with pin and clasp intact.Marked Sterling Silver with makers mark of Thomas Fattorini Bolton( this dates to around the period of the First World War) Height 26mm
