British Airways Medical Services,Nurses badge bronzed metal

A bronzed base metal badge for the British Airways Medical Service.This version postdates the earlier BOAC/BEA versions when the companies merged to create BA in 1974.
The badge has a central motif of a rod of Asclepius on a red background. British Airways Medical Service appears on a blue band around the edge.This is topped by an astral crown.
Makers mark for Manhattan Windsor Made in England. Condition is good with pin clasp and safety roller catch all good.Height 34mm
