Westminster Nurses Home, Silver District Nurse Badge

A rare early District Nursing badge for the Westminster Nurses home. I am assuming that this relates to one of the many community Nurse homes set up after Queen Victorias Golden Jubilee in 1887, some of which were affiliated to the Queen Victorias Jubilee Institute for Nurses.
The badge itself is in silver and enamel and consists of an oval with a central bar bearing 1897(possibly the year of foundation) in a voided centre. This is topped by queens crown.
To the left are the initials SA, probably denoting a Salvation Army link and to the right a Portcullis associated with Westminster.
Condition is good with pin and clasp in good order. Named for Mary McArthur.Hallmarked for Birmingham 1897.Height 27mm width 43mm
