Isle of Man Nobles Hospital/ME Rogers Nursing badge set

A group of Badges etc belonging to one lady from her career in Nursing & Midwifery from the 1960s onwards.
Mary Elizabeth Rogers was born in 1937 in Liverpool and went to do her State Registered Nurse Training at the Noble's Isle of Man Hospital ,qualifying in December 1965. The first two badges are her Hospital badge in white metal and enamel, named to ME Rogers 1965, and her Chrome GNC Badge named for ME Rogers SRN 359670 1.12.65.
She went on to do her midwifery training at Queen Charlotte's Maternity Hospital in London and the next item is the white metal and enamel badge from that hospital.
She then seems to have returned to the Isle of Man working as a staff midwife and eventually becoming a Tutor in the Nursing Education Department .We have an RCN Members badge and a silver and enamel badge for the Isle of Man Nursing Education Department, this later being hallmarked for JR Gaunt & Sons Birmingham 1990.
She was also active in the British Red Cross Society and included are a cap badge and cockade, Branch collar badges and cloth Nursing Superintendent patches.
Included are all an Ingersoll Nurses Fob watch and a Base metal Plated Nurses belt buckle(heavily repaired) along with a number of her work id badges, etc.
After her retirement she continued to volunteer as both a Lay Visitor and a Hospice Volunteer until her death in October 2022 aged 85 .
An interesting group which reflect the career of one Nurse and Midwife.
