A quartet of badges awarded to the same nurse for her training in Derby during the. Second World War
The first is a silver and enamel badge for the Pastures Mental Hospital at Mickelover .Originally the Derby County Asylum it was renamed in 1948 before it finally closed in 1994. This enamel badge features a caduceus on the lower part of a shield topped by three stags heads associated with Derbyshire.General condition is good with only minor surface scratches and some small enamel chips. Pin and clasp is good with safety chain in situ. Named to H A Docksey. Hallmarks for TF Birmingham 1957. This is accompanied by the Matching bronze medal of the Royal Medico Psychological Association.with its original blue silk ribbon and suspension bar.In good condition but with ribbon needing stitching, it is named for H A Docksey.
The third item is a silver pendant badge for the Derby City Hospital, in good condition with pin and clasp good.Makers marks for Thomas Fattorini Limited Birmingham .Hallmarke for TF Birmingham 1940. lastly is a chromee and enamel General Nursing Council for England & Wales badge. This is named to H A Docksey RMN 9057 27.11.42 SRN 1333391 7.6.45.Pin and clasp intact
