Addenbrookes Hospital Cambridge,silver nurses badge

Another Nurses Badge from this famous Cambridge Hospital.The badge design features a shield shaped badge with the lower half depicting the original Hospital buildings and Hospital title in light blue enamel.The upper half of the badge features 3 coats of arms around the hospital crest which bears the motto Per Undas Per Agros-By Water & Land.These are the County Council arms,those of the University and City and those of the See of Ely.
In good overall condition but with minor surface scratches and some enamel nibbling to the base name ribbon.Pin and clasp good.Engraved to rear Phyllis Mary Copeman 1949 (She is entered onto the GNC register on 22nd July 1949)
Makers marks for Thomas Fattorini Limited Birmingham,hallmarked for TF Birmingham 1945.Height 36mm
