Sunderland Area Hospital Management Committee Royal Infirmary/GNC badges

A pair of badges awarded to the same nurse for her training in the 1960s.
The first is a base metal and enamel nurses badge from the Sunderland Royal Infirmary.The badge consists of a Barbee Cross with upon which is a square with a Rod of Asclepius and banner bearing Founded 1794 surrounded by a blue enamel band with Sunderland Royal Infirmary School of Nursing.Good overall condition ,pin and clasp in good order. Unmarked to rear .Height 30mm
The second item is a chrome and enamel badge from the General Nursing Council For England & Wales .This is named for S Wade SRN 370017 27.7.1966 who is shown in the register as having trains dat the Sunderland Royal Infirmary. Good condition, pin intact.
