St Bartholomew's Hospital , Octocentenary 1923 Silver Belt buckle

A rare silver and enamel commemorative belt buckle issued for the 800th anniversary of the founding of Saint Bartholomew's Hospital London. The buckle was one of a number of items which were produced for the octocentenary in 1923 and features a plaque with the black and white Wakering shield and 1123 and 1923. Moderate condition with a variety of surface scratches. missing clasp piece. Silver hallmarks for London 1924.Width 47mm height 76mm
