A silver plated and enamel Midwive's badge from the Queen Charlotte's Maternity Hospital,Marylebone Road,London.Claimed to be the oldest Maternity Hospital in the country ,having been founded in 1739.The badge features a shield bearing the coat of arms of Queen Charlotte below an imperial crown..Good overall condition although with some enamel damage at the base and minor wear to the plating.The pin and clasp are good..Unmarked to rear.Height 33mm
