Greenwich and Deptford Hospital, Nurses Badge

An early Nurses badge for the Greenwich and Deptford Hospital from the 1920s. Originally the Union workhouse Infirmary for Greenwich and Deptford it wa sone of the hospitals to come under the control of the LCC in 1929 being renamed as St Alfeges Hospital in 1931. The pendant badge features an image of the Royal Observatory nearby .In good overall condition ,named to S A M White Dec 1922.
