Royal Southern Hospital Liverpool,Silver Nurses badge

A silver nurses badge from the Liverpool Royal Southern Hospital.This pattern of the shield shaped badge was in use from the early part of the 20th century until the hospitals closure in the 1970s .
This particular badge is unusual in that it has been issued first in 1918 and later reissued to another recipient in 1947
It is engraved to the rear for Nora Topley 1918 and below that Margaret Eynon 1947. The hallmarks are for W&H (Walker and Hall)Sheffield 1917.Good overall condition with minimal rubbing, pin and clasp intact ,safety chain in situ.
