Nightingale School of Nursing St Thomas's Hospital,Silver Nurses Badge(J Hector)

Another beautiful silver and enamel nurses badge from the Florence Nightingale School of Nursing of St Thomas' Hospital.
This badge comes in its original cardboard presentation box. Whilst these were generally in blue, this one is unusual in that it is in red and bears the cypher for ER II Coronation 1953,presumably to commemorate the occasion.
The enamel on this badge is generally very good however there is slight enamel damage to a couple of the arms
The pin and clasp are all good .It is engraved to the rear Nightingale School St Thomas Hospital Judith M Hector 1954 (This is Judith Mary Hector who is recorded on the GNC records as SRN 212647 having trained at Rowley Bristow Orthopaedic Hospital and St Thomas's Hospital London )
