A rare silver and enamel nurses badge from the West Cornwall Miners and Women's Hospital Redruth.The ornate pendant badge bears the arms of Cornwall with sags and swirls around the Hospital title.The reverse is engraved for Sister Nance 1920-1921 Hallmarked for V&S (Vaughton & Sons) Birmingham 1921.These badges appear to be awarded to Sisters working at the Hospital.
Good condition but pin is somewhat bent! Height 43mm.
