A base metal and enamel badge for Mental Nurse Training at the St Crispin's Hospital school of Nursing in Northampton.The design shows an apronned figure clutching the hammer and sheaf of corn symbolising the Industry and agriculture of the area.There is some surface wear to the brass finish but condition is otherwise good.The pin and clasp appear to be a later replacement .Makers mark for Thomas Fattorini Regent Street Birmingham.Height 34mm
