Another of the Nurses badges awarded by the London Council Council between 1930 and 1948 for over 100 Hospitals after they took over responsibility for running what had been poor Law Institutions,It features a Blue enamel cross with a silver centre upon which is the crest for the LCC.This one is for St James' Hospital,Balham,which eventually closed in 1985.
