A rare Nurses badge for the London Chest Hospital, which I believe dates between 1937 and 1949. The design features a 16th century Breastplate or Cuirass above a blue banner with London Chest Hospital.This alludes to a type of external ventilator ,often used during polio outbreaks in the 1940s.
