A brass and enamel nurses badge from the Training School for Nurses Northallerton. Originally built on the site of an old Carmelite monastery, the hospital was used in ww2 as an RAF hospital prior to being handed back to the NHS and renamed the Friarage hospital .

One of a number of caps and hats I shall be listing, these first all belonging a nurse and her sister in law from Suffolk during the 1930s and 40s.Phyllis M.
